St. Vincent New BeginningsTransitional Housing Program Fall Appeal |

We are thrilled to share that we have identified our long-sought-after Men’s Transitional House! We are so grateful for your help and the response of the entire community. Without so many seeing the importance of this house, we never would have made it this far! Thank you!
How exciting that our work has us so close to providing transitional housing to men reentering our community from jail, prison and treatment facilities. We are so close to announcing throughout Delaware “Yes, we have a place” where these men can get the help and support needed to ensure their safe transition including employment assistance, financial literacy training, counseling, securing health care coverage, and help transitioning to permanent housing, all the while keeping them from the statistic that has the 55% of the men returning to jail. With your support, we look forward to welcoming our first residents in March, 2026.
Yet with the house comes additional needs and responsibilities. We are gathering furniture, kitchen supplies and other needs for the house. We are hiring a director and support staff and finalizing our plans for the services, programs, partnerships and resources we will be offering to the men.
All this means we cannot stop now! With so much to be done, we trust you will allow us to continue to count on you.
